Wash the exterior enough to see existing marks. Photograph every side, wheels, glass, roof when practical, odometer, and interior. Review the pickup inspection before signing and retain your copy.

At delivery, inspect before the carrier leaves, compare with the pickup record, photograph concerns, and note exceptions on the delivery document. Nighttime delivery may require moving the vehicle into better light before the inspection is complete.
